That's right folks, it's that time of the year when we ask for your money to continue to provide great programming all year round. We're all very excited about these next two shows! On today's show, Sonia Dickin of the local band 'A Gentle Forest' joins us for a live, in-studio session. Take Back the Night 2008: Sept 25

School's In (Sept 9, 08)

Franny Rawlyk checks out the UofS campus in this episode to see what's offered as all the new students rush in. Ferron Olenyk, director of the women's centre talks about the services they offer, from the library, to discussion groups, to free give aways. Associate professor and department head of Women's and Gender studies, Joan Borsa, touches on the department and some of the types of courses offered. Finally, USSU preseident Josie Steeves touches on student life.

Labels, and the unborn victims act proposal

Amber, Sarah-Jane, Franny and special guest Vince all discussed what the term 'feminism' meant to them in relation to the show's name. We also discussed the new Canadian bill proposed that could open up the abortion debate here in Canada.
